NSGA Scholarship Goal; to invest in the future of the Ontario Nursery Sod Industry through education and training.
To be eligible the applicant must be a current NSGA member or from the immediate family (child, sibling, spouse) or employee of a current NSGA Member.
Area of Study and Course Start Date:
Area of study is open but must be applicable to the sod industry or sod operation.
Course start date will be the 6 months before or after December 31st. (For example the 2015 NSGA Scholarship will be for course starting dates between June 1, 2014 and May 31th 2015.)
Proof of course completion will be required at the end of the course.
Application deadline is December 31st.
Scholarship recipient will be chosen by January 31st.
Announcement and award presentation will be made at the AGM (March).

Scholarship recipient to be chosen at the discretion of the current NSGA board based on merit of application in consideration of the NSGA Scholarship goal. The board is not compelled to award the Scholarship if applications received are deemed unsuitable.
