NSGA Members Donate Sod to Restore Toronto City Park
December 6, 2011
NSGA Members have donated 8 truckloads of sod to repair damage to St. James Park in Toronto
caused by the 40 day Occupy Toronto protest. Landscape Ontario contacted NSGA board members
last week in an effort to organize the restoration of the park. LO has organized topsoil and
contractors to prepare the 11,000 sq metre site, sod will be delivered and installed by the end of this week.
The NSGA would like to recognize the goodwill of the NSGA Members who have donated sod to this cause
in an effort to deliver the message of the importance of green space in city centres.
