Green Certification

The Nursery Sod Growers Association of Ontario’s comprehensive undertaking to create a certified responsible producer program (Best Management Practices Program – BMP) for the sod industry in Ontario is nearing completion. The program standards will encompass all factors of nursery sod production and cultivation including irrigation practices, integrated pest management, nutrient management plans, employee training and education and on-farm safety.
